Die Insel Ischia war die erste griechische Kolonie des Westens. Im 8. Jahrhundert v. Chr. kolonisierten die griechischen Siedler aus Eub\u00f6a Lacco Ameno und gr\u00fcndeten die Stadt Pithecusa.<\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Wichtige arch\u00e4ologische Ausgrabungen, die in den 50er und 60er Jahren vom deutschen Arch\u00e4ologen Buchner durchgef\u00fchrt wurden, haben die Stadt und ihre Funde ans Licht gebracht. Der gr\u00f6\u00dfte Teil davon ist in der Villa Arbusto<\/strong> im arch\u00e4ologischen Museum von Pitecusae aufbewahrt.<\/p>\n

Im Mittelalter mit der Ankunft und Ansiedlung der Langobarden in Italien, wurde die Insel zusammen mit den Herzogt\u00fcmern von Gaeta, Neapel, Amalfi und Sorrent, ein Teil der \u00e4u\u00dfersten Peripherie des byzantinischen Reiches<\/strong>. Im Jahr 661 hatte die Insel einen Gouverneur mit dem Titel eines Grafen, der direkt dem Herzogtum von Neapel unterstand. Im 9. Jahrhundert erlitt die Insel kontinuierliche und wiederholte Sarazenen\u00fcberf\u00e4lle<\/strong>. Inzwischen hatten sich die meisten ischitanischen Familien auf das Schloss von Ischia<\/strong> begeben, das zu Recht als sicherer Ort gilt. <\/p>\n

Im 13. Jahrhundert wurde Ischia Teil des Reiches der Anjou<\/strong>. Sp\u00e4ter w\u00e4hrend des aragonischen-angevinen Konflikts wurden die Insel und das Schloss Schauplatz von Zusammenst\u00f6\u00dfen. Im Jahre 1438 eroberte Alfonso d’Aragona das Schloss.
Er wurde K\u00f6nig und schenkte die Insel seiner Favoritin, der sch\u00f6nen Lucrezia d’Alagno von Torre del Greco. Alfonso gew\u00e4hrte den Ischitern viele Gef\u00e4lligkeiten, „Privilegien“, darunter das Eigentum an einer halben Meile Meer mit Str\u00e4nden, Lidos und Landzungen; er befreite sie von jeder Art von Steuer und gew\u00e4hrte ihnen auch Privilegien gerichtlicher, kirchlicher und ehrenamtlich. <\/p>\n

Im 1500 Das „Supersch\u00f6ne Felsen“, die Burg, wurde der Aufenthalt von „gro\u00dfen Kapit\u00e4nen“ und Vittoria Colonna, die auf der Burg zu Francesco Ferrante d’Avalos ging. W\u00e4hrend des spanischen Erbfolgekrieges kam Ischia unter die \u00f6sterreichische Herrschaft und 1734 unter die Bourbonen mit Karl III. <\/p>\n

In Casamicciola er\u00f6ffneten die Bourbonen die sch\u00f6ne Stra\u00dfe Ferdinandea (heute Principessa Margherita), die Stra\u00dfe Maria Teresa (heute Via Garibaldi), die Strada Regia, heute Borbonica genannt.<\/p>\n

Im Jahr 1860 er\u00f6ffnet die Einheit von Italien f\u00fcr Ischia ruhigere Zeiten, die Insel wird zu einem der gr\u00f6\u00dften Badeorte in S\u00fcditalien <\/strong>und Ziel von Thermalkurlaub.<\/p>\n

Garibaldi<\/h4>\n

Der ber\u00fchmte Held der beiden Welten, Giuseppe Garibaldi, war eine der ber\u00fchmtesten Pers\u00f6nlichkeiten, die die Thermalstadt Casamicciola im Laufe der Jahrhunderte beherbergt hat. Garibaldi landete auf der Insel am 19. Juni 1864<\/strong> mit der Yacht „Undine“ des Herzogs von Sutherland, die ihn begleitet hatte. Garibaldi war zusammen mit einer gro\u00dfen Gruppe von Verwandten, Freunden und zwei \u00c4rzte, die ihn in der Behandlung hatten, Albanese und Basile. Garibaldi nach einem Tag in der Villa Manzi, zog mit seiner Begleitung ins Hotel „BelleVue“ heute Villa Parodi, die neben unserem Hotel liegt – und wie unser Hotel ein herrliches Panorama auf Casamicciola genie\u00dft. Heute ist die Villa Parodi ein privates Haus einer wichtigen r\u00f6mischen Patrizierfamilie, in dem das Zimmer, in dem Garibaldi wohnte, noch intakt erhalten ist. Das Thermalwasser von Casamicciola<\/strong> war eine wertvolle Medizin f\u00fcr den General, der viel Nutzen aus den B\u00e4dern und Thermalschlamm fand. Unterdessen die Nachricht, dass Garibaldi auf der Insel Ischia Urlaub machte, wurde von den Nachrichten des Landes geehrt, alle Zeitungen der Zeit berichteten \u00fcber die Details der Tage des Helden aus Ischitano. Ein bisschen so wie jetzt, wenn, mutatis mutandis, VIPs und ber\u00fchmte Pers\u00f6nlichkeiten kommen in den Urlaub auf unserer Insel. <\/p>\n
